SUPPORT PACKAGES FOR ORGANISATIONS

We have extensive experience designing and delivering bespoke support packages of care to vulnerable adults, children, young people and their families. This has included working in crisis situations both in the community and family homes, as well as within Social Care, Health Care and the Secure Environment. We work with other professionals to understand what works for the care being provided, and ascertain what value could be added through our assessment, intervention and support of other professionals, which could include supervision. We do this whilst keeping the voice and wishes of those we are working with at the centre of all we do, finding innovative ways to ensure they receive the care and support they need at the right time.

GROUP WORK FOR ORGANISATIONS

We offer group work as part of our therapeutic intervention model, and our team of accredited facilitators would be happy to support the design, development and delivery of group work for you. These can be delivered for any organisation addressing the health of it’s Service Users. We have extensive experience delivering in secure settings including The Prison & Probation Service, Secure Hospitals, in the Community and within Social Care.

The  educational ethos is inherent in the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model, and this lends itself very easily to the provision of groups or classes, as does the fact that CBT is structured and directive, collaborative and time-limited. Group psychotherapy views the interactions between the group members as the vehicle for change. In Cognitive Behavioural Therapy groups, it has traditionally been assumed that the cognitive–behavioural model taught to the group is more of an ‘active ingredient’ than the relationships between the group members.

The recently updated NICE guidelines on depression state that there is a place within the stepped care model of treatment for group CBT based on the ‘Coping with Depression’ approach. Group work has also been widely recognised as successful in treating:

Depression

Anxiety

Panic Disorder

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
